"Personal information" means information that identifies or can identify an individual, such as name, email address, and other contact or profile data. We also comply with applicable data protection laws where they apply to you, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), to the extent relevant to our Service.
Article 2 (Information Collected)
Our company may collect the following information in this Service:
- Account information: name or nickname, email address, profile image, and external account identifiers from Apple, Google, or similar providers
- Content and location information: photos, videos, album and group names, comments, dates and date ranges, saved places, outings and spots, and current location collected with your permission
- Purchase information: a pseudonymous RevenueCat app user ID, products, purchase history, transaction IDs, purchase tokens, and subscription status. We do not directly collect payment credentials such as card numbers.
- Invitation and membership information: album and group invitation tokens, participation and approval history, members, roles, and permissions
- Usage, device, and advertising information: app instance and advertising identifiers; device, OS, and app information; push tokens and settings; interaction events; access times; IP addresses; logs; error or crash information; ad impressions and clicks; and advertising consent and privacy choices
- Safety and Security Information: Content of reports, information of blocked users
Article 3 (Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information)
The purposes for which our company collects and uses personal information are as follows:
- To provide and operate the Service, including photo and video storage and sharing, albums, groups, outings, spots, and map features
- To manage album and group invitations, membership approvals and permissions, and to deliver push notifications
- To respond to user inquiries
- For improvement of Service functions and development of new features
- To identify users who violate the terms of use or who attempt to use the service for fraudulent or improper purposes, and to refuse their use
- To provide and manage paid plans, serve ads to Free accounts, measure advertising, prevent fraud, and manage advertising consent as required by law
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
Our company will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases:
- When necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person
- When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person
- When it is necessary to cooperate with national or local government agencies or their delegates in executing affairs prescribed by law
- When entrusting the handling of information to subcontractors such as cloud storage providers to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use
Article 5 (Supervision of Subcontractors)
We engage the following services where necessary: Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare R2 for data storage and delivery; Google Analytics for Firebase for usage analytics (album names, comments, email addresses, and precise location are not sent as analytics events); Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform for ads on Free accounts, measurement, and consent management (personalized or non-personalized ads are served according to region and consent choices); Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service for push notifications; Google Maps Platform for maps and place search, using current location only with permission; RevenueCat, the App Store, and Google Play for purchases and subscriptions; and Apple and Google for external account authentication. We select and supervise service providers appropriately.
Article 6 (Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion of Personal Information)
Users may view, edit, or delete their information through Settings or My Page and may delete their account in the app. Data marked for deletion is removed in sequence through our systems, but may remain during backup rotation or for periods required by law, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute handling. Deleting an account does not cancel an app-store subscription; cancel it separately through the purchase store. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or port data and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us below to exercise those rights.
Article 7 (Changes to Privacy Policy)
We may change this Policy in response to changes in law or the Service. We will give advance notice of material changes that significantly affect users through the app or another appropriate method. The revised Policy takes effect on the stated effective date.
